Lenovo’s upcoming showcase at Europe’s IFA 2025 tradeshow is poised to be headlined by a highly anticipated concept device, internally codenamed “Project Pivo” and also referred to as “VertiFlex”. This leaked concept laptop is designed with a display that can rotate 90 degrees from a standard horizontal orientation to a vertical, portrait mode. This innovation aims to address the “practical frustration” of users who need a vertical screen for specific professional tasks.

The information on Project Pivo was leaked by hardware leaker Evan Blass. The device is not a retail product but a “tech demo” designed to gather feedback from the public and industry, which will determine its potential for commercialization.

The leaked images of the Lenovo concept device reveal a unique design where the display can rotate from a horizontal to a vertical orientation.
