ASUS ROG has some exciting new gaming monitors that are changing how we look at our games. ASUS has announced new ROG gaming monitors, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG. The big news is both these monitors uses a new screen technology called Tandem WOLED, which uses two light-emitting layers to make the screen brighter and more power-efficient. This technology also helps to make the monitors last longer and have a wider range of colors. The monitors also have a special TrueBlack Glossy coating that reduces glare while keeping colors deep and rich.

Tandem WOLED Technology

The core innovation in these monitors is the Tandem WOLED technology, which utilizes two light-emitting layers. This design achieves a 15% brighter screen, with a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits, while consuming less power. A significant benefit of this new technology is a 60% longer lifespan compared to previous-generation OLED panels. To further enhance the visual experience, the TrueBlack Glossy coating is a zero-haze finish that effectively suppresses glare without compromising the deep, rich blacks that OLED is known for.

ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W

The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W is a 27-inch monitor features a unique dual-mode function that lets you switch between 2K at 540Hz and 720p at 720Hz. It also includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that automatically turns the screen black when the user steps away, helping to prevent burn-in on the panel.

ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG

The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG is a more affordable option that still offers great features. It has the same Tandem OLED technology and burn-in prevention features as the ROG Swift model. But it has lower refresh rate of 280Hz with a 2K panel. It also has a smaller stand, which is great for saving space on your desk.
